SACRA KONZERT An interpreter of multiculturalism and the crossover of languages, Luigi Cinque has been a continuous presence as both a musician and composer in the new music as a classical tradition. In the 70’s he takes part with the “Canzoniere del Lazio” to the renewal of traditional jazz music and rock; he has collaborated with some of the most interesting Italian and international jazz and rock line-ups.He studied composition with Daniele Paris and electronic music composition with Franco Evangelisti, he has written and directed contemporary works in Europe, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan and Australia. His works have been published by CRAMPS, Ricordi, BMG, Mrf, Radio Fandango. Luigi Cinque is considered one of the most representative composers/authors of the new frontier between music anthropology, music writing and applied new technologies. He teaches “Musicology” at the University La Sapienza in Rome.

Recensione album “Sacra Konzert” is the name of the new project for Radio Fandango label, released as cd+dvd at the end of march 2006. “Sacra Konzert” has been written and arranged by Luigi Cinque, and recorded with the collaboration of several and international jazz/world music artists such as Raiz, Francesco di Giacomo, Jivan Gasparyan, Michel Godard, Andrea Biondi, Gavino Murgia, Lucilla Galeazzi, Elena Ledda, Salvatore Bonafede, Gianluigi Trovesi, Danilo Rea, Emil Zrihan, Badara Seck, Baba Sissoko and Catharina Kroeger. |
